Ogbono soup


Ogbono Soup is a Nigerian dish made with ground dry ogbono seeds. Ogbono seeds are originated and were first grown in south east Nigeria, its also slimmy in texture.

Some people add vegetables like Bitterleaf or Uziza Leaves to prepare to their taste.

Ogbonno soup can be eaten with Fufu, Pounded Yam, Eba.

  • Beef /Goatmeat 1500g
  • Ponmo 600g
  • Dried fish 350g
  • Stock fish 250g
  • Yellow pepper 100g
  • Cray fish 200g
  • Uziza 100g
  • Ogiri 100g
  • Palm oil 650g
  • Maggi & salt
